History

The Hitching Post News began as a humble newsletter by Water Valley Community Association and grew to include the Village of Cremona.  From a humble newsletter a growing newspaper emerged.  In recent years there has been several owners with different perspectives and ideas for the paper.  Throughout this time the paper grew, becoming a resource for several communities in the County of Rocky View, MD of Big Horn, and Mountain View County.  March 2011 the current publishing team began to put their own perspective and ideas to work at HPN, while continuing to provide local information and views.
